Due to severe weather conditions expected in Austin this weekend, and for the safety of our dancers, artists, and staff, we have made the decision to reschedule our 2-day event.

About us
We are Salsamania-Austin, a Salsa event where we focus on playing the best music for Salsa and Bachata dancing. Salsamania-Austin started back in 2015, as a sister event of the world renown Salsamania-Saturdays in New York City.
We invest in developing a sense of community by bringing nothing but the best worldwide talent to Austin. We understand that it is difficult for you, our dancers, to fly to every single Salsa congress in the world to train with the best, so we bring them to you. During the last 8 years we have brought countless dancers, performers, and instructors that have made Salsamania-Austin one of the best places to learn, dance, and watch the hottest dance shows in America.
DJ Gonzo - host
The musician, producer and dj was born and raised in Peru. At the age of 17, he moved to New York City. He studied music at Queens College Music school and learned Latin percussion at Boys Harbor Conservatory for the Performing Arts located in el barrio, NYC.
His musical studies helped him develop an eclectic taste, and led him to the authentic old school sound for which he is known. DJ Gonzo’s unique style and soundly rich music selection has made him one of the most influential and top salsa DJs in the world.
In september 2014, DJ gonzo launched DJ Gonzo Productions, and signed salsa legend piano virtuoso, Mr. Alfredito Linares. Together they released "Salsa Pa' Todo El Mundo", available worldwide at https://music.apple.com/us/album/salsa-pa-todo-el-mundo/935117904
In October 2024, he launched himself as a solo artist - Gonzo Gonzales, with Gozon 45! https://music.apple.com/be/album/goz%C3%B3n-45-single/1776393515
DJ Gonzo keeps entertaining the masses and plays in several congresses, socials, and clubs around the world.
